PROVIDENCE – Ten months after he was arrested by state police, a Woonsocket man has been charged in Superior Court with multiple drug trafficking and firearm offenses. Emanuel Martinez, 23, was arrested in October after a two-month investigation by the Rhode Island State Police High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area task force, according to the Attorney General's Office. State police arrested Martinez at home in his Woonsocket apartment and seized cocaine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and four different firearms.
