WOONSOCKET – The driver of the vehicle who allegedly fled the scene of a hit-and-run fatality last month is now free on bail after he was transferred to the custody of the Woonsocket Police Department from Massachusetts authorities to answer charges in court. Reed Barbour, 22, of 461 Pond St., Franklin, was arraigned in Sixth District Court Friday on four felony counts – duty to stop in an accident resulting in death; duty to stop in an accident resulting in serious bodily injury; driving to endanger resulting in death; and driving to endanger resulting in bodily injury.
