WOONSOCKET – Security and safety topped parents' list of concerns at the coffee hours hosted by Superintendent Patrick McGee on Thursday evening, who described a district doing its best with the resources it has.Kim and Joe Mazzola, parents of a junior at the Woonsocket Area Career and Technical Center and a recent graduate now in college, were two of the four parents who attended. Kim Mazzola reported descriptions from her son of 'constant shelter-in-place' alerts, students vaping in bathrooms and fights breaking out more frequently.
