RHODE ISLAND, January 30 - Rhode Island Department of Health (RIDOH) is seeking public comment on intent to issue a Categorical Exclusion. The Director of the Rhode Island Department of Health has reviewed for approval the request by the City of Woonsocket Water Division for a Categorical Exclusion determination for proposed improvements to their public water system. The improvements consist of the purchase and installation of new meters as well as an Advanced Meter Infrastructure (AMI) system. All work will occur within the City of Woonsocket Water Division service area which includes Woonsocket and parts of Cumberland and North Smithfield, Rhode Island and Bellingham and Blackstone, Massachusetts.
