Rhode Island Department of Health (RIDOH) is seeking public comment on intent to issue a Categorical Exclusion. The Director of the Rhode Island Department of Health has reviewed for approval the request by the City of Woonsocket Water Division for a Categorical Exclusion determination for proposed replacement of water meters. The project consists of the purchase and installations of new water meters as well as to install an advanced meter infrastructure (AMI) system, for water use data collection, storage, and remote data transmission, all within the Woonsocket Water Division service area.
